About

I have been working in documentary, cultural and musical productions for more than two decades – as an editor, colorist, sound mixer and dramaturgical consultant.

My focus is on shaping structure, rhythm and atmosphere with precision, from raw material to resonating broadcast‑ready masters. With a background in musicology, I bring a precise understanding of musical structure and its narrative potential into my work.

My experience includes international documentaries, concert recordings and cultural programs for broadcasters and institutions such as ZDF, ARD, ARTE, PBS, SVT, NHK, CCTV, the Berlin Philharmonic and the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. Several of my projects have received major awards, including the Emmy Award and the Golden Prague Grand Prize.

Since 2012, I have been running my own studio near Leipzig, where I support productions from the first idea to the final master.

Alongside my work in editing, color, sound and dramaturgy, I also develop my own documentary projects. My focus lies on cultural, musical and essayistic forms.
